7.3L OHV FPI Gas V8
Design a gas-powered V8 built for strenuous duty, hauling heavy loads day in and day out, with commercial-grade durability, performance and efficiency and you get the port fuel-injected 7.3L. This pushrod V8 design optimizes low-end torque, and the variable-cam timing helps to optimize high-output power. And for the durability also required, the 7.3L features a cast-iron block with four-bolt and cross-bolted main bearings plus a forged-steel crankshaft. Want the largest, most powerful gas V8, rated at 430 hp and 475 lbs.-ft of torque, in a heavy-duty pickup?* This is it.

POWER STROKE® V8 TURBO DIESEL ENGINE
The available 6.7L Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel features a 36,000-psi fuel-injection system, featuring injectors that can atomize fuel up to eight times per stroke to optimize combustion. It also features stronger block, cylinder heads, connector rods and bearings, plus forged-steel pistons, which means 475 hp and 1,050 lb.-ft. of torque at 1,600 rpm. It produces maximum horsepower at a lower RPM than any other engine at 2,600 rpm.* Finally, the engine features an electric-actuated variable-geometry turbocharger that improves throttle response and efficiency.

6.2L FLEX-FUEL GAS V8
The 6.2L flex-fuel gas V8 is the standard engine in F-250 and F-350 models. It’s engineered to deliver peak torque at lower rpm and generates high torque throughout the midrange of the power band. The SOHC valvetrain with roller-rocker shafts results in a stiff valvetrain with an optimized intake and exhaust port layout for better breathing. The 6.2L in the F-250 is teamed up with the TorqShift® G 6-speed transmission; in the F-350, it features the 10-speed automatic.
TORQSHIFT® 10-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
All Super Duty® models (except the 6.2L V8 F-250) feature a standard TorqShift® 10-speed automatic transmission, engineered to optimize drive ratios and improve shift performance. You can choose from five selectable modes — Normal, Slippery, Tow-Haul, Eco, Deep Sand/Snow and, with the available Tremor Package, an additional Rock Crawl mode. Ford is the only manufacturer to design and build all of its heavy-duty engine and transmission combinations — ensuring the powertrain works seamlessly with all chassis components and vehicle calibrations.

PRE-COLLISION ASSIST WITH AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING (AEB)
We should all drive defensively, but sometimes other people’s lack of attention can create a hazard. This available feature scans the road ahead and can alert you to potential collisions with vehicles detected in your path. If an impact becomes imminent and you don’t take corrective action, the brakes can apply automatically. But don’t worry – they’ll only activate if they’re needed.
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL AND FORWARD COLLISION WARNING WITH BRAKE SUPPORT
Available Adaptive Cruise Control and Forward Collision Warning with Brake Support takes conventional cruise control to a new level. It lets you select the speed and distance you want to maintain from the vehicle in front of you. When traffic ahead slows down, you automatically do too, and later resume the preset speed when traffic picks back up. Getting too close to the vehicle ahead? Forward Collision Warning with Brake Support can alert you to a potential collision: A head-up display simulating red brake lights will flash on your windshield, and an audible alert will sound. If you don’t react in time, the brakes will precharge and increase sensitivity, providing full responsiveness when you do brake.
BLIS® (BLIND SPOT INFORMATION SYSTEM) WITH TRAILER COVERAGE
It’s rush hour on the interstate. You’re towing a boat. And you need to change lanes. If this situation sounds daunting, it usually is. But available BLIS with Trailer Coverage can help ease lane-change anxiety – even with a trailer in tow. It can alert you not only when a vehicle is spotted in your blind spot but also when one is alongside the trailer.
LANE-KEEPING ALERT
It happens. Maybe you’re caught up listening to your favorite podcast or need your morning coffee, but you’ve wandered a little too close to the edge of your lane. Luckily, available Lane-Keeping Alert can help you stay in your lane, even during a moment of distraction. This smart feature scans your vehicle’s position between the lines in the road ahead and can alert you if you’re starting to edge out of your lane. Having trouble staying on track? After you’ve drifted a few times, you’ll see a coffee cup icon, letting you know it’s time to take a break.
AUTO HIGH-BEAM HEADLAMPS
We’ve all been there. Heading into a pitch-black stretch of road and having to turn on the high beams—then forgetting to turn them off as oncoming traffic approaches. Now, unlit roads, dark peripheries and other low-visibility situations don’t have to catch you off guard. Available Auto High-Beam Headlamps can sense poor lighting conditions and switch on to further light your path ahead. They even sense oncoming headlights and dim automatically so you don’t have to worry about blinding other drivers, allowing you to keep your focus—and both hands—on the wheel.
REAR VIEW CAMERA
Between glancing in the rearview mirror and craning your neck, backing up requires a little multitasking. So we help make it easier. The Rear View Camera may not be an extra set of eyes, but it does provide a great view of what’s behind your vehicle. Just make sure to keep the camera lens free of debris (like snow or dust) and you can navigate in Reverse with more confidence.
HILL DESCENT CONTROL™
Steep hills are often tricky to navigate. Available Hill Descent Control can help make the situation easier – and anxiety-free –by doing just what its name says. It helps you maintain a set speed when you’re driving down an incline, by automatically applying the brake when needed.

WIRELESS CHARGING PAD
The available wireless charging pad accepts a wide range of devices with built-in charging capability. Simply set your phone with charging side down on the pad, located in the center console, while the vehicle is either running or in accessory mode. When your phone is fully charged, the unit will maintain it even while you’re streaming music or making a call through the available SYNC® system.
Not all phones are compatible with wireless charging. Devices without built-in wireless charging require an additional manufacturer-approved receiver or sleeve. Wireless phone charger supports Qi.
TRUCK APPS
The available 8-inch LCD productivity screen puts valuable information on a wide variety of vehicle functions in front of you, with up to seven screens readily available through My View. Among them is a screen displaying towing functions, such as trailer brake controller and transmission tow/haul settings, vehicle pitch and steering angle, and profiles of up to 10 trailers. Choose the type of trailer connected (conventional, fifth-wheel or gooseneck) and go through a connection checklist that includes such items as mirrors adjusted properly, electrical wiring connected, lights functioning correctly, and others.
